Last time I looked for this it was not available in Canada? Something about the contents or chemicals in the fluid. I know it is widely used in the USA and is on shelves at Low's and other stores....

I just picked up a bottle of 'simple green' and cleaned my rig today. It had dust and some light caked on stuff no bad but needed a cleaning from the last time out.

'Simple Green' is the best stuff that I have used thus far.

FYI. If you have some older tires that are a little hard this stuff will soften up them to.

Now I just got to figure out why I payed an $0.13 environmental fee on a product that is biodegradable and the bottle is 100% recyclable. :eek:

Silicone oil (new or used from shocks)and a paint brush. Lighter oil wieghts work better. It cleans, lubricates and protects agains rust. It makes everything nice and shiney.


I don't use wd40. It washes away oil and usually causes dirt to seep in to the bearings. (gritty bearings with the grease washed out are bad!) It doesn't leave enough oil behind to protect things from wear or rusting either, especially for long storage in basements or garages. It's not good for you either.

i do a mix of simple green and denatured alcohol and a cap of wd40. spray it on and and use a tooth brush and q-tips on some spots. works amazing for me and cheap to make
